Jide Launched Its Second Android-Powered Mini PC, Remix OS

ANDROID MAVERICK brand Jide has recently announced the latest device to use its Remix OS. Its latest living room device is mini PC that will run Nougat and be optimized for watching video and gaming. Launching as a Kickstarter for $99, it’ll be shipping worldwide in March.

Remix OS Features:

Remix IO pretty much beats all other popular media players when it comes to pure features. This all-in-one box is powered by an octa-core CPU, 2 gigabyte of RAM, and boasts 16 gigabyte of internal storage which is expandable via a micro SD card. It’s capable of outputting 4K video in 60 frames per second, supports Android TV apps. It also plays nicely with other wireless, Miracast, and Bluetooth devices in addition to having a more traditional infrared receiver. Basically, this all-in-one is everything Jide promised us back in May.

Remix OS

There is also a new TV Mode user interface. You can also navigate through apps using the remote control that comes out bundled with all Rremix IO models, or with a keyboard and mouse. Opt for a Gaming Edition of the Remix IO and you will also get a game controller that can be used with TV Mode.

TV Mode is also coming to last year’s Remix Mini, but due to the hardware issues, the older box won’t be upgraded to Android 7.0.
