Gold/Silver Rate Today 22 July 2021 : Gold declined while silver rose marginally. According to HDFC Securities, gold fell by Rs 264 on Thursday to close at Rs 46,452 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market. It had closed at Rs 46,716 per 10 grams on the previous trading day. On the other hand, silver rose by Rs 4 to Rs 65,484 per kg, while it closed at Rs 65,480 per kg on the previous trading day. In the international market, gold was trading lower at USD 1,797 an ounce while silver was almost unchanged at USD 25.17 an ounce.

According to the website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (ibjarates.com), the price of gold fell by Rs 552. While the price of silver declined by Rs 214. Now the price of 10 grams of gold of 24 carat is Rs 47670 while the price of 10 grams of gold of 22 carat is Rs 43670. Know the latest price of 14 to 24 carat gold based on purity below.

Gold, silver prices fall in Indore

In Indore bullion market, the price of gold declined by Rs 250 per 10 grams and silver by Rs 310 per kg on Thursday. In spot trade, gold was sold higher at Rs 49150, lower by Rs 49000 per 10 grams and silver at Rs 68250 and lower at Rs 68100 per kg. The average prices of precious metals remained as follows. Gold Rs 49100 per 10 grams. Silver Rs 68200 per kg. Silver coin Rs 750 per nos.

Gold futures prices fall

Gold prices on Thursday fell by Rs 89 to Rs 47,484 per 10 grams in the local futures market as speculators offloaded their positions amid weak spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in August fell by Rs 89, or 0.19%, to Rs 47,484 per 10 grams. It had a business turnover of 5,987 lots. Market analysts attributed the loss in gold prices to offloading of positions by traders. Globally, however, gold fell by 0.08% to $1,801.90 an ounce in New York.

Silver futures prices fall

Silver prices on Thursday fell by Rs 37 to Rs 67,100 per kg in futures trade as participants reduced their positions on weak spot demand. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver futures for delivery in September fell by Rs 37, or 0.06%, to Rs 67,100 per kg. The futures contract was traded for 12,979 lots. Internationally, however, silver rose 0.16% to $25.30 an ounce in New York.

According to Tapan Patel, Senior Analyst (Commodities) HDFC Securities, selloff coupled with rise in US bond yields and dollar index has pushed gold prices to their lowest level in two weeks.
