They have a son- Azad Rao Khan. The couple said in a statement that they would continue to co-parent their son and at the same time maintain a professional relationship, meaning they would continue to work in films together.

“In these 15 beautiful years together we have shared the experiences, joy and laughter of a lifetime, and our relationship has only grown in trust, respect and love,” the statement said.
