Now it is also being discussed that as soon as the construction work of Jewar airport gets expedited, the number of investors who set up their venture in Yeida will increase. Due to which YEEDA will leave behind other industrial development authorities in the state in terms of attracting the world’s biggest investors. 1564 big investors took plots
Out of the 1564 big investors who have taken industrial plots in Yeida, all the investors have started the construction work of setting up their units. A well-known company like Vivo has almost made its factory for manufacturing mobile phones in Sector 24 of Yida. Production will also start here in the next four to six months. Similarly, Yingtong Electronic Technology’s unit for manufacturing mobile phone accessories is almost ready in Sector 24.

Apart from this, many companies like Surya Global Flexi Pvt Ltd, Haldiram Snacks Pvt Ltd, Holistic India Kent RO, Orient Fashion Export, Bodycare International are setting up their units in Yeida. Here land has been allotted to dozens of big companies including Ishi Technology, Dev Pharmacy, Kwality Buildcon, Matend Limited, Raj Corporation, Galvano India Private Limited, Bikaner, Quadrant, Swastik Industries, Narsee Monji University. Apart from this, the first collector industry of the state has started here. Here Handicraft Park, Apparel Park, MSME Park and Toy City etc. are to be developed. With their completion, Yiddah would become known worldwide as a major industrial city. Twenty years ago, Yida was not even thought of as such. Yida was formed in the year 2001. In the year 2009, a housing scheme of 21 thousand plots had come here. After this, the pace of launching industrial, commercial, housing society, housing schemes was very slow here. Which has now again gained momentum due to the plans of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

With the initiative of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the proposal to build Jewar airport was approved. At the same time, attention was paid to bring industrial investment here and on seeing the big investors of the country and abroad started coming forward to set up their units in Yeida. Now it is becoming a status symbol for big investors of the country and abroad to set up their units in yida. One reason for this is the Jewar airport, apart from this, work is also being done on the plan to run a metro from Greater Noida to Jewar to improve the traffic here. Due to all this, YIDA has now strengthened its grip on the economic front. Despite the Corona epidemic, YIDA has earned more than 2200 crores in this financial year. In the last financial year, this figure was Rs 1198 crore.
