Sharman Joshi, who plays the character of ‘Raju’, had told that the actors actually drank alcohol for a scene in the film and it was Aamir Khan’s idea. Sharman Joshi had also mentioned about who this scene was with. According to Sharman, in one scene, Raju (Sharman), Rancho (Aamir), and Farhan (Madhavan) sit on the stairs and call their professor ‘virus’ good and bad. It is seen in the scene that everyone is drunk.

Sharman says that all the actors actually drank alcohol for this scene. Aamir Khan had given the idea to actually drink alcohol to do this scene. Madhavan had drunk too much alcohol, so he looked much better in the scene. Madhavan played the scene in the best possible way. However, after the intoxication, the actors had to do many retakes, even the stock of camera roll was exhausted.
