Gold Price Today 13 August 2021: Gold and silver prices increased further. According to HDFC Securities, gold rose by Rs 222 to Rs 45,586 per 10 grams in the national capital on Friday. The previous day it closed at Rs 45,364 per 10 grams. On the other hand, silver also rose by Rs 100 to Rs 61,045 per kg, which had closed at Rs 60,945 per kg on the previous trading day. The futures prices of both have increased. In the international market, gold was trading higher at $ 1,757 an ounce and silver was flat at $ 23.30 an ounce.

Gold futures price hike

Gold prices on Friday rose by Rs 153 to Rs 46,516 per 10 grams in the local futures market as speculators created fresh positions on firm spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in October rose by Rs 153, or 0.33%, to Rs 46,516 per 10 grams. It had a turnover of 13,127 lots. Market experts said buying in fresh positions by traders led to gains in gold futures prices. Internationally, gold prices rose 0.39% to $1,758.70 an ounce in New York.

Silver futures price hike

Silver prices on Friday rose by Rs 413 to Rs 62,273 per kg in futures trade as participants widened their positions on firm spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the futures contract for silver for delivery in September rose by Rs 413, or 0.67%, to Rs 62,273 per kg. The futures contract was traded for 11,771 lots. Market experts said fresh positions created by traders due to a firm trend in the domestic market, led to a rise in silver prices at futures trade. Internationally, silver rose 0.77% to $23.30 an ounce in New York.
