Gold/Silver Rate Today 28 June 2021 : Gold and silver prices rose again. On Monday, gold rose by Rs 116 to Rs 46,337 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market. Earlier, on the previous trading day i.e. Friday, gold had closed at Rs 46,221 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of silver also rose by Rs 161 to Rs 67,015 per kg. But in the futures market, gold declined and silver rose. It had closed at Rs 66,854 per kg on the previous trading day. In the international market, gold rose to USD 1,782 an ounce, while silver was almost unchanged at USD 26.13 an ounce.
However, according to the website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (ibjarates.com), the price of gold fell by Rs 116. While the price of silver declined by Rs 263. fall in gold futures prices
Gold prices on Monday fell by Rs 34 to Rs 46,891 per 10 grams in the local futures market as speculators offloaded their positions amid weak spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in August fell by Rs 34, or 0.07%, to Rs 46,891 per 10 grams. It had a turnover of 10,731 lots. Market experts said offloading of positions by traders led to losses in gold futures prices. Internationally, gold fell by 0.03% to $1,777.30 an ounce in New York.
Silver futures prices rise
Silver prices on Monday rose 0.36 per cent to Rs 69,201 per kg in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a firm trend at the spot market. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver futures for delivery in September rose by Rs 251, or 0.36%, to Rs 69,201 per kg. The futures contract was traded for 7,843 lots. Internationally, silver traded 0.15% higher at USD 26.17 an ounce in New York.
HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said 24-carat gold rose by Rs 116 in Delhi on firmness in Comex gold and supported by the fall in the rupee.
