New Delhi: One such marriage case has come to light from Auraiya in UP where a girl named Archana canceled her marriage because the groom could not read the newspaper without glasses. A man named Arjun Singh, a resident of Auraiya, arranged the marriage of his daughter Archana to a man named Shivam. Got ready for marriage.

This problem came to the fore on the day of marriage itself, the groom had put black glasses on his eyes, due to which everyone started doubting whether his eyesight was weak.

Arjun Singh said, “When the procession came to the house on June 20, the groom was wearing spectacles continuously the whole time.” Everything started happening about his eyesight. Then, accompanied by the bride, everyone asked her to read the Hindi newspaper without glasses. Since he failed to do so, Archana refused the marriage.

The bride’s family has lodged a complaint at the nearby police station. He has also asked the family members of the groom to give back all the dowry given. This includes cash and a motorcycle. Shivam’s family has not returned it yet so an FIR has been registered against him.

One such incident happened sometime back in UP where the bride came to know that her future husband was illiterate, she asked him to read the table of 2, in which he had failed.
