NATO united against attacks in space

NATO leaders said in a statement that they recognize that “attack in space, from space and in space” could pose challenges to NATO that “are a threat to national, Euro-Atlantic prosperity, security and stability, and that it poses a threat to modern societies.” can be just as damaging as a conventional attack.

“If such an attack happens, Article 5 will become effective,” he said. However, in the event of such attacks, the effect of Article 5 will be decided by NATO on a case-by-case basis.
