Giving this information, property consultant Savills India said that private equity investment in the real estate sector has increased mainly due to increased demand for commercial properties.

In the last full year 2020, PE investment stood at $6.6 billion. The report said that the inflow of private equity investments shows that investor confidence remains intact despite the slowdown caused by the pandemic.
