Mumbai: The Sensex and Nifty started a record high on Monday on investor buying. Today, the Sensex is up 100 points and the Nifty is up 70 points. Both indices are at record levels.

Investors in the auto, energy, banking and FMCG sectors continued to buy in today’s session. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 20 are up. Among the gainers were Powergrid, ONGC, ITC, L&T, SBI, Mahindra & Mahindra, NTPC, HCL Tech, Bajaj Auto, ICICI Bank, Maruti, Kotak Bank and Infosys.
