Kiara Advani plays Vikram Batra’s girlfriend Dimple Cheema in the film. Dimple Cheema is not married till date. Captain Vikram Batra’s parents told that they had asked Dimple to get married.

In a conversation with the Times of India, Vikram Batra’s parents told, ‘She calls on our birthday twice a year. There was a lot of love between Dimple and Vikram. After the Kargil war, we told her to get married because she had her whole life in front of her. His parents also told him that he should get married. But, she clearly said that she does not want to get married for the rest of her life and wants to live with Vikram’s memories.

Teacher is Dimple Cheema
Vikram Batra’s father says, ‘I have always been a liberal father. It’s fine as long as my son isn’t going down the wrong path. Vikram told me about Dimple. He said that both want to get married. I told him that we are with his decision. I knew from the beginning that Dimple was a very good girl. She understands relationships. Let us tell you that Dimple Cheema is a teacher in the school.
