Gold Price Today 12 August 2021: Gold and silver prices increased. According to HDFC Securities, gold rose by Rs 422 to Rs 45,560 per 10 grams in the national capital on Thursday. It had closed at Rs 45,138 per 10 grams on the previous trading day. On the other hand, silver rose by Rs 113 to Rs 61,314 per kg. The previous day it had closed at Rs 61,201 per kg. Gold Futures Price Hike

Gold prices on Thursday rose by Rs 77 to Rs 46,465 per 10 grams in the local futures market as speculators created fresh positions on firm spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in October rose by Rs 77, or 0.17%, to Rs 46,465 per 10 grams. It had a turnover of 13,273 lots. Market experts said buying in fresh positions by traders led to gains in gold futures prices. Internationally, gold prices rose 0.12% to $1,755.40 an ounce in New York.

Silver futures prices fall

Silver prices on Thursday fell by Rs 251 to Rs 62,520 per kg in futures trade as participants reduced their positions on weak demand. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver futures for delivery in September fell by Rs 251, or 0.4%, to Rs 62,520 per kg. The futures contract was traded for 11,892 lots. Internationally, silver fell by 0.44% to USD 23.39 an ounce in New York.

Gold, silver prices rise in Indore

In the local bullion market, the price of gold increased by Rs 400 per 10 grams and silver by Rs 950 per kg on Thursday. According to traders, gold was sold at Rs 48,100 per 10 grams and silver at Rs 65,500 per kg today. The average prices of precious metals remained as follows.
