Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao announced their divorce in a statement on Saturday. Some time back, the couple celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao have promised to remain the ‘dedicated parents’ of their son Azad. Now on Sunday, Bollywood couple Aamir-Kiran shared a joint video and talked about divorce.

In this video, one can see Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao holding hands. This is the first video of Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao after the announcement of divorce in which both have come forward and talked about it. The Bollywood couple assured their fans that they are happy where they are now. Aamir Khan said in the video that obviously to our fans, both are still family and always will be.

In their statement, Aamir Khan-Kiran said, ‘In these 15 beautiful years together we have shared the experiences, joy and laughter of a lifetime, and our relationship has only grown in trust, respect and love. Now we would like to start a new chapter in our life – no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family to each other. We started a planned separation a while back and are now comfortable sharing it with you. Despite living apart, we will live like a family in our lives. We are dedicated parents to our son Azad, whom we will raise together. We will also continue to collaborate on films, Paani Foundation and other projects that we feel passionate about.
