Music composer Anu Malik’s mother Bilkis Malik has passed away. The mother of Anu Malik, Abu Malik and Dabboo Malik breathed her last on July 25. Bilquis Malik was 86 years old and was buried in the Santa Cruz graveyard. Abu Malik has confirmed the news and said that he passed away peacefully.

Late musician Sardar Malik’s wife Bilkis was admitted to Juhu’s Arogya Nidhi Hospital on Thursday after suffering a heart attack. Bilkis was the sister of famous poet and lyricist Hasrat Jaipuri.

Anu Malik and his entire family have suffered a great loss. According to the report, Bilkis suffered a stroke on Thursday after which he was admitted to the hospital. He died after being admitted to Arogya Nidhi Hospital in Mumbai. Singer-composer Armaan Malik and Amaal Malik have penned an emotional note for their grandmother on their Instagram accounts.

Armaan Malik, son of Anu Malik’s nephew i.e. Daboo Malik, told Dadi as his best friend. Singer wrote in his post, ‘Lost my best friend today… my grandmother. Light of my life Can never make up for this loss. A void that I know no one can fill. You were the sweetest, most precious person I have ever lived. I am so grateful that I was able to spend so much time with you. Allah my angel is with you now.’

Amaal Malik also bid a final farewell to Dadi. Amaal wrote, ‘To bury you with my hands today was the most difficult task of my life. I cried for the last hug, but you were already gone. You wanted to be buried right next to your husband and I am glad we were able to do so…. As I left, it started to rain and I looked up at the sky and smiled knowing that you were right where you wanted to be, with Grandpa. There was none before, and there will be none later. Sunday breakfast with grandma was aloo paratha for breakfast and pizza parties for dinner….You lived to love your children and grandchildren, you fought long and hard. You will live within us till the end. Ozzy Malik has left us.
