New Delhi : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Mansukh Mandaviya from Gujarat has been entrusted with the responsibility of an important ministry like Union Health in the Modi government. On Wednesday, he was sworn in as the Health Minister in the cabinet reshuffle of the Modi government. However, after Mansukh was sworn in, people found his old tweets and started trolling the Union Minister over them. People took a jibe at him on social media for the old tweet. Mansukh has been made Health Minister in place of Harsh Vardhan.

Social media users found another tweet of his in which he has commented about Rahul Gandhi. In this tweet, he has described Rahul Gandhi as the great-grandson of Mahatma Gandhi. He was trolled on social media for both these tweets.

Promotion from Minister of State
He was a minister of state before being made a cabinet minister. He was the Minister of State in the Ministry of Chemicals and Food. Apart from this, he also held independent charge of the Ministry of Shipping. Mansukh comes from the Saurashtra region of Gujarat. In the Modi government, he is recognized as a youth and a sharp leader.
