Petrol-diesel rates | Petrol-diesel prices beyond Rs 100, Dharmendra Pradhan said Congress responsible

Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan once again blamed the Congress for the skyrocketing prices of petrol and diesel. He said that the Congress left millions and crores of rupees due on us for the oil bonds before 2014, due to which we have to pay the principal and interest amount now, this is also a major reason for the increase in oil prices. At the same time, he said that there has been a jump in the prices of crude oil in the international market, we have to bring 80% of our requirement from outside.

It should be noted that till June 22, petrol has crossed Rs 100 per liter in nine states and union territories of the country. In Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha and Ladakh, the retail price of petrol has crossed Rs 100 per liter. With this, after Rajasthan, diesel has crossed Rs 100 per liter in Odisha as well.
