Born on 16 March 1996 in Singapore, Tim David is an all-rounder. His height is 6 feet 5 inches, which he tries to take advantage of in his game as well. David’s father Rod David was also an international cricketer and played for Singapore in the 1997 ICC Trophy. Tim David made his international debut in 2019 with a match against Qatar after making a mark in domestic cricket.
He became the highest run-scorer in 2019 in the Cricket World Cup Challenge League-A tournament. He scored 369 runs in 5 matches of that tournament. Tim David was included in his team for the 2020-21 season of the Big Bash League (BBL T20) by Hobart Hurricanes and in the very first match he scored 58 runs to win the title of the match.
He also joined the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in May 2021 and has now won hearts by scoring his maiden List-A century while playing for Surrey in the Royal London Cup.
