Check PF Balance through SMS

If your UAN is integrated with your KYC details then you can send a text SMS to get the EPF details. Simply type a text message in EPFOHO UAN ENG format, where UAN will be your Universal Access Number and ENG is the language in which you wish to receive information from the department. For example, convert ENG to HIN for Hindi, MAR for Marathi, TAM for Tamil, etc. Now send this message to 7738299899. You will get your PF balance information instantly.

Check PF balance by missed call

Make sure that your UAN is integrated with your KYC details and then you can give a missed call to the designated toll-free number. Give a missed call on 011-22901406. After disconnecting the call, you will receive an SMS containing all your PF account details.

Check PF Balance with Umang App

Open UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) app and click on EPFO. The member will be directed to a page that shows employee-focused services. Click on ‘Employee Centric Services’, which will direct the users to the page. Then, click on ‘View Passbook’ and enter the UAN and One-Time Password (OTP), which will be received by the users on the registered mobile number. After this the members will be able to check EPF balance.

1. Log on to the EPFO ​​home page (epfindia.gov.in).
2. Click on ‘Click here to know your EPF balance’.
3. You will be redirected to epfoservices.in/epfo/. Go to “Member Balance Information”.
4. Select your state and click on your EPFO ​​office link.
5. Enter your PF account number, name and registered mobile number.
6. Click on ‘Submit’ and your PF balance will be visible.

It is important to activate your UAN before checking your EPF. Password will be sent to the mobile number. Note that subscribers can check PF balance only after six hours of activating UAN.
