Gold/Silver Rate Today 20 July 2021 : The price of gold increased while that of silver declined. According to HDFC Securities, gold rose by Rs 253 to Rs 47,100 per 10 grams in the national capital on Tuesday. In the last trading day, gold had closed at Rs 46,847 per 10 grams. On the other hand, silver fell by Rs 61 to Rs 65,730 per kg from the previous trading day at Rs 65,791 per kg. Gold and silver futures also declined. In the international market, gold was trading higher at $ 1,813 an ounce and silver was flat at $ 25.06 an ounce.

According to the website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (ibjarates.com), the price of gold increased by Rs 96. While the price of silver declined by Rs 810. Gold futures fall in prices

Gold prices on Tuesday fell by Rs 46 to Rs 48,048 per 10 grams in the local futures market as speculators offloaded their positions amid weak spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in August fell by Rs 46, or 0.1%, to Rs 48,048 per 10 grams. It had a turnover of 6,283 lots. Market analysts attributed the loss in gold prices to offloading of positions by traders. Internationally, however, gold rose 0.24% to $1,813.50 an ounce in New York.

Silver futures fall in prices

Silver prices on Tuesday fell by Rs 146 to Rs 67,100 per kg in futures trade as participants reduced their positions on weak spot demand. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver futures for delivery in September fell by Rs 146, or 0.22%, to Rs 67,100 per kg. The futures contract was traded for 13,713 lots. Internationally, silver fell by 0.02% to USD 25.14 an ounce in New York.
