Gold/Silver Rate Today 15 July 2021 : Gold and silver prices increased again. On Thursday, gold rose by Rs 177 to Rs 47,443 per 10 grams in the national capital. On Wednesday, it had closed at Rs 47,266 per kg. Silver also rose by Rs 83 to Rs 68,277 per kg from the previous trading day at Rs 68,194 per kg. The futures prices of both have also increased. On the other hand, in the international market, gold was trading higher at $ 1,831 an ounce and silver was flat at $ 26.30 an ounce.
According to the website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (ibjarates.com), the price of gold increased by Rs 269. While the price of silver increased by Rs 113. Gold futures prices rise
Gold prices on Thursday rose by Rs 136 to Rs 48,435 per 10 grams in the local futures market as speculators created fresh positions amid strong spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in August rose by Rs 136, or 0.28%, to Rs 48,435 per 10 grams. It had a business turnover of 8,391 lots. Market experts said buying in fresh positions by participants led to a rise in gold futures prices. Internationally, gold prices rose 0.37% to $1,831.70 an ounce in New York.
Silver futures prices rise
Silver prices on Thursday rose by Rs 228 to Rs 69,640 per kg in futures trade as participants increased their positions on firm spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver futures for delivery in September rose by Rs 228, or 0.33%, to Rs 69,640 per kg. The futures contract was traded for 10,092 lots. Market experts said the rise in silver futures prices was due to buying of fresh positions by traders due to a bullish trend in the domestic market. Internationally, silver rose 0.43% to USD 26.39 an ounce in New York.
