Warwickshire captain Will Rhodes will captain a 14-man County XI against India in a three-day warm-up game from July 20-22. The England and Wales Cricket Board gave this information on Thursday. Former England bowler and current Young Lions head coach Richard Dawson will coach the hosts.
The match will be played without spectators as wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant and a member of the support staff in the Indian team have been found to be Corona positive. The Select County team also features Test debutant James Brassie and Nottinghamshire opener Haseeb Hamid, who made his Test debut against India in 2016.

ECB will create a small bio bubble for this match and all selected players will be corona tested. The match will be available to watch on Durham County Cricket Club’s YouTube channel and will also have commentary on BBC Radio.
