New Delhi: Recently, the rising prices of petrol and diesel in the country have spoiled the budget of the common man, as well as it is affecting inflation, while the central government has taken some concrete steps keeping this in mind. It is being told that the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued a draft notification regarding 12 percent and 15 percent ethanol mixture in petrol as vehicle fuel.

That is, in simple language, soon there is going to be an announcement from the central government, which will reduce the cost of running your car by almost half and this will be possible with the use of alternative fuel (Ethanol). The government is preparing to make ethanol based vehicles i.e. Flexi fuel vehicles a reality soon.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has said that in the next 10 days, he is going to make a big announcement on flex-fuel engines, ‘Flexi Fuel’ i.e. a fuel that can fill even on ethanol, Know what this is after all and what can be the benefits from it-

At present, 8.5% ethanol is mixed per liter of petrol in the country, which used to be 1 to 1.5% in 2014. The target of achieving 20 per cent ethanol blending with petrol has been set by 2025 to reduce the dependence on imports.
