Recently the trailer of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Bell Bottom’ was released and Lara Dutta’s look went viral in no time. Fans were stunned to see her transformation as Indira Gandhi. Here’s a look at the celebs who stunned everyone with their magical transformations in films.

1. Ranbir Kapoor (Sanju Movie):

Ranbir Kapoor’s look was a copy of Sanjay Dutt’s in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju. The unmatched resemblance between Real and Reel Sanju was highly appreciated. Ranbir had revealed in the making video, ‘Sanjay Dutt’s face has changed in the last few years. His face was swollen due to alcohol and his chin had come down. So I think it added to their aging process. We failed test after test and it was really tough because you have to sit in a chair for six hours hoping it will work.

2. Kangana Ranaut (Tanu Weds Manu):

Kangana Ranaut was seen playing a double role in ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’. She played the role of Tanu and Datto. She managed to impress the audience with her unique look. Make-up artist Vikram Gaikwad was hired to replace Kangana as Datto. Reports say that about 10 sets of dentures were tried and tested to fix it before the look was finalized.

3. Shahrukh Khan (Fan):

Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Fan’ film garnered a lot of praise from the audience. In the film, he was seen in a double role as film star Aryan Khanna and his obsessive fan Gaurav Chandna, who looks very similar to him. It took Shahrukh six hours to get Gaurav’s look. 5. Lara Dutta (Bell Bottom):

Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi starrer ‘Bell Bottom’ is all set to hit the theaters on August 19. This is the first film to be released in theaters after the second wave of Corona virus. Lara will be seen playing the role of late former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film. As soon as the trailer was released, fans started sharing Lara’s look on social media. They were stunned to see her makeover.

Talking about her role, Lara said at the trailer launch, “It is a big responsibility when you portray someone who is an iconic figure like Mrs Gandhi. It was very important to get his body language right. The film is about a kidnapping that happened during the tenure of Mrs. Gandhi. Looking at the dramatic events that unfolded, she was extremely focused. That’s why it was important to portray him that way. As a result, a lot of time went to homework and research. It was an opportunity for which I am very grateful.

6. Amitabh Bachchan (Pa):

Amitabh Bachchan’s look in ‘Paa’ is the most incredible look ever. In the film, Big B was seen playing the role of a 12-year-old Progeria patient. To accentuate her look, the makers chose international make-up artist Stephane Dupuis, who did Robin Williams’ makeup in ‘Mrs.’.

Megastar Amitabh had posted about his look on his blog at that time. He mentioned, ‘The prosthetic process is arduous … about eight pieces specially designed through painstaking clay models are most carefully glued to the face. Once the makeup is on, it’s impossible to move even a few centimeters. You have to refrain from eating and drinking and you cannot talk as it affects the shape of the face. 7. Akshay Kumar (Robot 2.0):

Akshay Kumar was seen in an incredible look in ‘2.0’ with Rajinikanth. He was seen in his crow man look. During the trailer launch event, Akshay had said that it was very difficult to achieve that look. She had to sit for hours for the makeup to set and a few more hours to remove it.
