UIDAI said that to verify the Aadhaar number, one has to log in directly on the link https://resident.uidai.gov.in/verify. Here 12 digits have to be written. After filling the security code and captcha, click on Proceed to Verify.

  1. UIDAI Link https://resident.uidai.gov.in/verify log onto
  2. enter 12 digit number
  3. Enter security code or captcha
  4. Click on Proceed to Verify
  5. By doing this you will see the authenticity of the 12 digit number.
