Mumbai: After sharing an emotional video of Ajay Devgan about a soldier, Akshay Kumar praised him. In the video, Ajay is seen reading Manoj Muntashir’s poem ‘Sepoy’. Akshay appreciated Ajay’s poetic skills as he felt that the actor had written the poem. Akshay wrote, ‘I am not very candid when it comes to emotions in real life. But it brought tears to my eyes. @ajaydevgn, I didn’t know you have a wonderful poet. What will you win my heart, man?
Soon after realizing Kavita Ajay’s absence, she tweeted, “Just found out that the very touching poem’s words are from the amazingly talented @manojmuntashir. Which was narrated by Ajay Devgan @ajaydevgn.
Replying to the tweet, Manoj said, “With whatever little talent I have, I will always be grateful to you Akshay Kumar sir, for giving me the opportunity to write for you again and again. I am glad that #Sepoy is so well narrated by @ajaydevgn sir and is touching the hearts of millions. Our soldiers will get more strength.
Ajay also reacted and wrote, ‘Thank you Akki @akshaykumar for the best words on my ‘poetry’ side. Appreciation feels good, especially when it comes from a friend and respected colleague. I should also thank @manojmuntashir for the poem – soldier.
