Mumbai. Noted Bollywood and TV actor Anupam Shyam Ojha has passed away. Anupam Shyam Ojha was battling kidney ailment since last year. He was on ventilator at Lifeline Hospital in Mumbai, where he breathed his last on Sunday. The news of his death came late at night. Stars like filmmaker Ashok Pandit, Manoj Joshi, Manoj Bajpayee, Malini Awasthi have paid tribute to his death.
He used to play the character of Thakur Sajjan Singh in the TV serial Pratigya and was quite popular in this role. Let us tell you that last year UP CM Yogi Adityanath had announced to provide financial assistance of ₹ 20 lakh to Anupam Shyam for his treatment.
Manoj Bajpayee became emotional on the death of Anupam Shyam. He wrote – You were well-liked as an actor and a human being. Will miss you a lot. The days spent in Delhi and Mumbai will also be remembered. Who lived well lived my friend !! Lord rest your soul.

Anupam Shyam Ojha is a resident of Pratapgarh, UP. He got recognition from the character of Sajjan Singh in the TV serial Pratigya. Apart from this, he has worked in Shekhar Kapur’s famous film Bandit Queen in the year 1994. In 2008, he appeared in Slumdog Millionaire. He used to go for dialysis thrice a week during the shooting of TV serial Pratigya.
Raja Bhaiya had sent five lakh rupees
Many stars and politicians came forward last year to help Anupam Shyam Pathak. Apart from CM Yogi Adityanath, former UP cabinet minister Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya had also given five lakh rupees.
It is worth noting that on the night of July 27 last year, his health suddenly deteriorated. In a hurry, the family members admitted him to the Life Line Hospital in Goregaon for treatment.
