Ashram 2 web series directed by Prakash Jha has been released on MX Player. MX Player is a platform where you can watch it for free. Because of this too, the number of viewers watching Ashram 2 can be much more than other web shows. The makers of Ashram Season 1 claimed that the first season had garnered nearly one-third of India’s population i.e. close to 396 million views, which is a huge number in itself. It can definitely be said that people liked Bobby Deol’s Ashram web series.

Now let’s talk about the story of Ashram 2 and the work of its characters and know how far the second season has taken the story of the first season.
The story leaves many questions for the third season (aasharam season 3 plot)
Ashram 2 has hit the audience almost two and a half months after the release of the first season. Like season 1, this season too has been released with a pack of 9 episodes. The story of Season 2 is a little trickier than Season 1. This season the story revolves around the crimes of Baba Nirala Kashipur Wala i.e. Bobby Deol. Its story is exactly based on Dera Sacha Sauda chief rape accused Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insa.
The first season had many questions like, will Pammi (Aditi Pohankar) be able to avenge every atrocity committed on her family? Will Sub Inspector Ujagar Singh (Darshan Kumar) and Doctor Natasha (Anupriya Goenka) be able to expose Baba? Will CM Sunderlal (Anil Rastogi) be able to become CM again? Or will Hukum Singh (Sachin Shroff) go ahead in the CM race.
The second season just takes you closer to the answers but doesn’t give the complete answers as this season makes you even more eager to watch the third season. The story of this season ends at a point where we have to watch the third season to know the answers to the questions.
However, the story of season 2 is a bit tighter than the first season. There is more material in this story because now everything happens inside the ashram itself. In this story you will also get a chance to see and understand the many crimes committed by Baba in the past.
Several things happen in the story as Ujagar Singh along with his subordinate Sadhu Sharma (Vikram Kochhar) intensify the investigation of a murder case related to Baba Nirala. For which he has also reached inside the ashram. Akki (Rajeev Siddhartha) has also managed to get inside the ashram to avenge his mother. Pammi is going to take a big step to find out the dangerous truth of Baba.
how the characters work
Bobby Deol has got more screen space this season. Bobby Deol, playing the character of Baba Nirala, can be seen alone in many scenes. However, like in the first season, this season too Bobby Deol seems to be a little light in playing a negative character.
But Chandan Roy Sanyal has played his role well. Chandan, playing the character of Bhopa Swami, is embodying the image of a dangerous villain in each of his scenes. Whether it is a deal worth crores with politicians or a talk of picking up guns, Bhopa manages the crime syndicate in the best guise of a spiritual organization whenever the need arises. Overall, Chandan Roy Sanyal has proved to be excellent in his work.
Talking about Aditi Pohankar, she has a lot to do this season. After learning of Baba’s betrayal, his performance has seen an amazing dramatic improvement.
The character of Akki i.e. Rajiv Siddharth also plays his role well. Rajiv plays the role of a petty journalist who has to avenge his mother’s death and reveal Baba’s truth to the world. The work of this character is commendable.
Barring some shortcomings, the second season of Ashram can be seen. Overall, this season makes you look forward to the third season, for which we must congratulate Prakash Jha.
