Singh, the MLA from Ballia’s Bairia, has made objectionable remarks about Trinamool Congress (TMC) President Mamata Banerjee and Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav. Singh has described Mamata Banerjee as ‘Lankini’ and Akhilesh Yadav as ‘Aurangzeb’. This statement of Singh is going viral on social media.

‘Mamata killed people for votes’
The BJP leader has said that ‘the way Lankini killed hundreds of people during the demon era, in the same way Mamata Banerjee killed hundreds of people for votes. I treat them as lankins. Similarly, Akhilesh Yadav belongs to Aurangzeb’s culture. Aurangzeb also sat on the throne after killing his father. If there is any leader of Aurangzeb’s culture in Indian democracy, it is Akhilesh.

Controversial statements have already been made
It is understood that after this controversial statement of Singh, both TMC and SP parties can retaliate against him. This is not the first time Singh has made a controversial statement. He has given objectionable statements many times before. In May last, Singh had given a controversial statement on Muslims. Singh exhorted Indian Muslims to learn patriotism from Israel. Singh made an objectionable statement while expressing his opinion on the Israel-Palestinian conflict.
