Gulzar Ki Gazal: Today is the birthday of Gulzar Sahab, who made the cinema world buzz with his words. His name is also included in the selected gems of the world. Gulzar sahab has written some beautiful songs, dialogues, stories and scripts in his life which touch the heart of every generation. Born on 18 August 1936 in Dina village near Jhelum district of Pakistan, Gulzar was fond of Shero-Shayari since childhood. Very few people know that Gulzar’s childhood name was Sampoorna Singh Kalra.

After crossing the border during the Partition, he continued to improve his writing from adolescence. After settling in Amritsar, he took his dream flight from Mumbai. Where he also worked as a mechanic for his livelihood. After getting a place in Vimal Rai Productions, he made Indian films buzz with his songs.
