Remembering former Presidents who have boarded the special train on several occasions in the past
New Delhi: President of India Ram Nath Kovind will reach his birthplace in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh on Friday, let us tell you that this will be the first time in 15 years that a President of the country will travel by rail. He will meet old friends, school classmates and relatives in UP. At the same time, some Presidents have been traveling by train in the country since independence.
President Kovind’s special train will run from Delhi’s Safdarjung railway station on June 25 and will reach Kanpur in the evening.
