Raj Kundra Case: Shilpa Shetty has not been given clean chit yet by Mumbai Police

Mumbai : The scope of investigation of the Mumbai Police in the pornography racket case is getting bigger. Mumbai Police, which is probing the case, said on Tuesday that actress Shilpa Shetty has not been given a clean chit in the case and she may be questioned further. Police say that they are probing all possible angles in this case. According to the police, forensic auditors have been appointed to investigate all the bank accounts exposed so far. The police suspect that Raj Kundra’s relative Pradeep Bakshi was being used only as a face in this whole case, while the entire work of ‘Hotshots’ was being looked after by Raj Kundra.

Six crore rupees in seized bank accounts of Yash Thakur – Police
Police say that after the arrest of Raj, some more victims have reached him and recorded their statement. Police will also record Sherlyn Chopra’s statement. Mumbai Crime Branch says that Rs 6 crore was found in the seized bank accounts of accused Arvind Srivastava alias Yash Thakur. He had written to Mumbai Police to open these accounts but the police has asked him to appear and join the investigation.

Raj Kundra now in judicial custody
Hearing on Raj Kundra’s bail application took place today. The court sent Kundra to judicial custody for 14 days. Police has made Raj the main accused in the case. Raj Kundra is accused of producing pornographic films and airing them on the app. After interrogation in the case, the Mumbai Police arrested him on 19 July.
