Gold/Silver Rate Today 03 August 2021 : According to HDFC Securities, gold fell by Rs 31 to Rs 46,891 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market on Tuesday. It had closed at Rs 46,922 per 10 grams on Monday. On the other hand, silver fell by Rs 372 to Rs 66,072 per kg. The previous day it had closed at Rs 66,444 per kg. On the other hand, gold was trading lower at $ 1,810 an ounce in the international market, while silver remained almost unchanged at $ 25.34 an ounce.
According to the website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (ibjarates.com), the price of gold fell by Rs 17. While the price of silver declined by Rs 154. Gold futures prices fall
Gold prices on Tuesday fell by Rs 239 to Rs 47,847 per 10 grams in the local futures market as speculators reduced their positions amid weak spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in October fell by Rs 239, or 0.5%, to Rs 47,847 per 10 grams. It had a turnover of 12,623 lots. Market experts said offloading of positions by traders mainly led to the fall in gold futures prices. Internationally, gold fell 0.54% to $1,812.30 an ounce in New York.
Silver futures prices fall
Silver prices on Tuesday fell by Rs 468 to Rs 67,421 per kg in futures trade as participants reduced their positions amid weak spot demand. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver futures for delivery in September fell by Rs 468, or 0.69%, to Rs 67,421 per kg. The futures contract was traded for 9,277 lots. Internationally, silver fell by 0.82% to USD 25.37 an ounce in New York.
According to Tapan Patel, Senior Analyst (Commodities), HDFC Securities, spot gold of 24 carat in Delhi fell by Rs 31 per cent on a weak trend in the US commodity market and a correction in the rupee.
