Trading on BSE and NSE will remain closed today due to Muharram festival. As per the Stock Market Holiday 2021 list available on the official website of BSE, bseindia.com, there will be no trading activity in Equity, Derivatives and SLB segments today.

There will be no action in the Commodity segment in the morning session and also the commodity market will remain closed from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in the morning session but trade as per its schedule from 5:00 pm in the evening session. will resume.

This is the only holiday in the stock market to fall in August 2021. The next stock market holiday will be on 10th September 2021 on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi followed by Dussehra festival on 15th October.
