Washington Sundar out of England series: India team at England gets another major blow

London: The Indian team, which went on the tour of England, is getting a big setback one after the other. Washington Sundar has become the third player after Shubman Gill and Avesh Khan to be ruled out of the upcoming five-match Test series. The first Test between India and England will start from 4th August. Both Sundar and Khan suffered injuries in the practice match against the Indian team’s County Select XI. Sundar has suffered a finger injury, the details of which are yet to come, while Avesh Khan has a fracture in his right thumb.

Now both Sundar and Avesh Khan will no longer be available for the upcoming tour. Remember that Shubman Gill has also returned home due to injury. It should be noted that the ECB had requested the BCCI that its 11 players could not be completed, the Indian board then sent two of its players to complete the county team. Now it has to be seen what BCCI will do now.

The board had refused to send any option after Shubman Gill was injured. Now that Khan and Sundar are also injured, the selectors will have to sit down and make a plan soon.
