A love story set in the backdrop of India Pakistan was featured prominently in this film. In the film, Sunny Deol played the role of Sardar Tara Singh and Amisha Patel played the role of Sakina.

In Gadar Ek Prem Katha, Tara Singh goes to Pakistan to pick up his wife Sakina but as per the information being received, the new story will be different. This time Tara will not go to Pakistan for Sakina but to take someone else. According to the report of ‘Pinkvilla’, this time Sunny Deol will go to Pakistan to take his son and not his wife. Some time back, director Anil Sharma had expressed his desire to make Gadar 2.

It is being said in the report that the same cast will be there in Gadar 2 which was in Gadar. Utkarsh Sharma will be seen opposite Sunny Deol in this! Utkarsh will be seen in the role of Sunny Deol’s son. At the same time, before working on Gadar 2, Anil Sharma will complete the film ‘Apne 2’ in which Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Karan Deol are going to be seen in the lead roles.
