Gold/Silver Rate Today 21 June 2021 : Gold and silver prices rose again. On Monday, gold rose by Rs 250 to Rs 46,277 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market. In the last trading session, gold had closed at Rs 46,027 per 10 grams. Similarly, silver also rose by Rs 258 to Rs 66,842 per kg. Silver had closed at Rs 66,584 per kg in the previous trading session. Gold and silver prices also rose in the futures market. On the other hand, gold was up at USD 1,782 an ounce and silver was also up marginally at USD 26.05 an ounce in the international market.
However, according to the website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (ibjarates.com), the price of gold fell by Rs 105. While the price of silver declined by Rs 765. Now the price of 10 grams of gold of 24 carat is Rs 47160 while the price of 10 grams of gold of 22 carat is Rs 43200. Know the latest price of 14 to 24 carat gold based on purity below.

Gold futures prices rise
Gold prices on Monday rose by Rs 272 to Rs 47,000 per 10 grams in the local futures market as speculators created fresh positions on firm spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in August rose by Rs 272 or 0.58 per cent to Rs 47,000 per 10 grams. It had a business turnover of 11,024 lots. Market experts said buying of fresh positions by traders mainly led to the rise in gold futures prices. Internationally, gold prices rose 0.74% to $1,782.10 an ounce in New York.
Silver futures prices rise
Silver prices on Monday rose 0.43 per cent to Rs 67,890 per kg in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a firm trend at the spot market. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver futures for delivery in July rose by Rs 292, or 0.43%, to Rs 67,890 per kg. The futures contract was traded for 10,194 lots. Internationally, silver traded 0.49% higher at $26.10 an ounce in New York.
HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said that gold prices witnessed a correction on Monday after recording the worst weekly fall in the last 15 months. Despite a firming dollar, a fall in US Treasury yields supported gold prices. Navneet Damani, vice-president of commodity research at Motilal Oswal Financial Services, said gold prices saw a jump after a 6% fall.
