Nottingham: The third day of the first Test between India and England on Friday could not be completed and the stumps were declared soon due to rain. At stumps, England scored 25 runs in 11.1 overs for no loss. Dom Sibley 9 * and Rory Burns 11 * are frozen at the crease.
Recall that in response to England’s first innings 183 runs, India’s first innings was all out for 278 runs in 84.5 overs. The visiting team took a lead of 95 runs on the basis of first innings.
Robinson completed the paw
Olly Robinson completed his fifth hunt by getting Jasprit Bumrah (27) caught at the hands of Broad. Bumrah scored 28 runs in 34 balls with the help of three fours and a six. Apart from Robinson, James Anderson got four wickets.
