Milkha Singh passes away

It is noteworthy that Milkha Singh won 4 gold medals in Commonwealth Games and one in Asian Games. His best performance, however, was at the 1960 Rome Olympics in which he finished fourth in the 400 m final. However, he regretted missing out on a medal at the Rome Olympics. The bronze medalist’s time in this race was 45.5 and Milkha finished the race in 45.6 seconds. He also represented India in 1956 and 1964 Olympics. He dominated the track and field event for over a decade. His speed was in the world.
