According to TRAI’s report, mobile subscribers in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh circle have reached close to 8 crore. This has been revealed in the data released by TRAI for April 2021. According to the report, Jio has added 5.37 lakh customers in the month of April. At the same time, Airtel added 45.3 thousand customers. On the other hand Vodafone’s 1.49 lakh and BSNL’s 1 lakh subscribers decreased.

Telecom regulator TRAI has released the telecom subscriber data for Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh circle. In the month of April 2021, the number of mobile subscribers in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh increased to 7.82 crore. Jio remains in the first place in the circle.

According to the TRAI report, Reliance Jio has added 5.37 lakh new customers in April 2021 in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh. Jio has 35 million customers in the circle. Jio managed to add customers in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh by continuing its continuous service during the Corona period.

According to the report, the subscribers of Bharti Airtel have increased by 45.3 thousand to 1.54 crore. At the same time, the number of Vodafone Idea customers has come down by 1.49 lakh to 2.14 crore. State-owned BSNL’s subscriber base dropped by 1 lakh to 62.1 lakh. The total mobile subscribers in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh increased by 3.32 lakh to 7.82 crore.

There has also been an increase in the number of fiber broadband connections in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in the month of April 2021. During this period, the number of Jio’s fiber broadband customers increased by 9369 to 1.88 lakh. There are total 7.22 lakh wireline subscribers in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh.

In April 2021, the number of mobile subscribers across the country stood at 1183 million. Reliance Jio has 427 million subscribers, Airtel 352 million, Vodafone Idea 281 million and BSNL 117 million across the country.
