ENGLAND vs PAKISTAN: The second T20 International match was played between England and Pakistan at Leeds ground on Sunday (ENG vs PAK 2nd T20I). After the defeat at the hands of Pakistan in the first T20 match of the series, this time England completed the revenge by giving a befitting reply. England defeated Pakistan by 45 runs in this match and drew 1-1 in the series, now the title will be decided in the final T20 match to be held in Manchester on 20 July. Here in the second T20 match, England’s experienced wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler made a comeback after a month. He was made the captain and this player also maintained its respect with his performance.

Jos Buttler played his last T20 International against Sri Lanka in Cardiff on 23 June 2021. Buttler scored an unbeaten 68 in that match but was later out of the field due to injury. The doctors had advised him to take rest. Now he has fully recovered and when he looked ready to return on Sunday, Buttler was handed over the command of the team in the absence of Eoin Morgan.

Pakistan won the toss in the second T20 and invited England to bat first and Jos Buttler showed his explosive comeback to the world. It did not seem that he was away from the game for almost a month. Buttler played a blistering innings of 59 runs in 39 balls. His brilliant innings included two sixes and 7 excellent fours. That is, he scored 40 runs of the innings through the boundary.

Apart from Butler, Moeen Ali (38 runs in 16 balls) and Liam Livingstone (38 runs in 23 balls) also played brilliant innings. Both these batsmen could not complete their half-centuries but due to their innings, they worked to carry forward the excellent start given by Butler. As a result, England reached 200 runs in 19.5 overs before being all out and later allowed Pakistan to score just 155 for 9 in 20 overs.
