Pakistan also scored the biggest score (232 runs) in their T20 history in this match and with the win also took a 1-0 lead in the series, but all this was not easy for them. Despite making such a big score, Pakistan’s team was forced to be rubbed by a batsman till the last moments. This batsman was Liam Livingstone, who made a new record for the fastest international T20 century for England.
In this match, after winning the toss, England had called Pakistan to bat first. The Pakistani batsmen landed on the pitch and their batsmen executed many brilliant innings one after the other. Babar Azam (85 runs), Mohammad Rizwan (63 runs), Fakhar Zaman (26 runs in 8 balls) and Mohammad Hafeez (24 runs in 10 balls). On their own, Pakistan scored 232 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. It seemed that by now the English team would lose badly. But 27-year-old all-rounder Liam Livingstone took to the pitch in a different mood. This player first scored England’s fastest fifty in 17 balls. He did not stop here, after that the pace of his innings increased and he reached his century in the next 26 balls.
David Malan breaks record

Livingstone broke the record of teammate and world No.1 T20 batsman David Malan in this case. Malan scored a T20 century in 48 balls against New Zealand in Napier in 2019. Now that record has been broken by Livingstone. Although Malan had made that record on foreign land and Livingstone has done it in his home.
