Mumbai: Some time ago, there were reports of the Chandigarh Police sending summons to many people associated with the Being Human Foundation, including Salman Khan and his sister Alvira Khan. Now a company dealing in the matter with superstar Salman Khan’s Foundation Being Human has issued a statement giving its reply regarding this alleged fraud case. In this statement, while explaining its side regarding the whole matter, the company has clarified many things by clarifying.
The summons has been issued on behalf of the police on the complaint of a businessman of Manimajra, who had alleged fraud of Rs 2 crore. The complainant, Arun Gupta, had told the police that he had opened a ‘Being Human Jewellery’ showroom at Manimajra NAC. As per the agreement with Style Quotient Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, partnering with Being Human, the company’s jewelery was to be displayed in the Being Human showroom.
Gupta claimed in his complaint that he was told that Salman would promote the showroom in his popular reality show Bigg Boss and he was also assured that the actor would inaugurate the premises. Thereafter, he spent Rs 1 crore on refurbishing the showroom and Rs 1 crore on buying stock. However, this did not happen and the showroom from which it was asked to take stock has been lying closed since February 2020.
Therefore, the complainant has lodged an FIR against Salman, Alvira Style Quotient Pvt Ltd and others for ‘cheating and impersonation’. The names of Salman and his sister are trending all over the web regarding this alleged case. Now, Style Quotient has issued an official clarification stating that Salman Khan has nothing to do with the matter.
Statement about Salman Khan’s Being Human relation with 2 crore rupees Fraud Case:
“The present matter is between SQJPL and Modern Jewels alone as neither ‘Being Human – The Salman Khan Foundation’, Salman Khan, Alvira Khan nor any other representative of the Foundation are parties to that MoU,” the official statement said. . In fact, Salman Khan is the only owner of the Being Human brand and not a trustee of the Being Human Foundation. We sincerely request the media houses to ascertain the facts with the concerned authorities.
Notably, neither Salman nor Alvira has commented on this alleged case so far.
