Gold/Silver Rate Today 13 July 2021 : Gold and silver prices rose again. On Tuesday, gold rose by Rs 90 to Rs 46,856 per 10 grams in the national capital Delhi. It was at Rs 46,766 per 10 grams on the last trading day. On the other hand, silver rose by Rs 490 to Rs 67,988 per kg. On Monday, it had closed at Rs 67,498 per kg. In the international market, gold was trading higher at $ 1,809 an ounce and silver was flat at $ 26.21 an ounce.

However, according to the website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (ibjarates.com), the price of gold increased by Rs 105. While the price of silver increased by Rs 320. Gold futures prices rise

Gold prices on Tuesday rose by Rs 41 to Rs 47,815 per 10 grams in the local futures market as speculators created fresh positions on firm spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in August rose by Rs 41, or 0.09 per cent, to Rs 47,815 per 10 grams. It had a turnover of 8,610 lots. Market experts said buying of fresh positions by participants led to the rise in gold futures prices. Internationally, gold prices rose 0.07% to $1,807.10 an ounce in New York.

Silver futures prices rise

Silver futures on Tuesday rose 0.02 per cent to Rs 69,390 per kg as speculators created fresh positions amid a firm trend in the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in September rose by Rs 15, or 0.02%, to Rs 69,390 per kg in a business turnover of 10,402 lots. In the international market, silver rose 0.10 per cent to USD 26.27 an ounce in New York.

According to Tapan Patel, Senior Analyst (Commodities), HDFC Securities, “The yellow metal gained in the day due to weakening of the dollar.
Navneet Damani, VP Commodity Research, Motilal Oswal Financial Services said gold prices rose after hitting a one-week low in the previous session, as the dollar weakened slightly ahead of US inflation data. This could signal the Fed’s next move.
