In a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Ghanshyam Nayak said, ‘There was a time when I used to work for 24 hours only for three rupees. 10-15 years ago our film industry did not have that much money, we never used to get our fees. At that time I used to ask my neighbors to borrow money for house rent and school fees.

Mumbai has two houses
Ghanshyam Nayak said in the same interview, ‘I feel that after doing Taarak Mehta, my life has come to a standstill. I have started earning money. After that I haven’t looked back. Today I have two houses in Mumbai. According to Nattu Kaka, his whole life is full of struggle. Before Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, he was seen in the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
