England bowled out the Indian team for the first 364 runs on Friday on the second day of the second Test match being played at Lord’s ground here on the basis of excellent bowling by fast bowler James Anderson (5/62). England are 119 for three in their first innings at stumps and are still 245 runs behind. At the end of the day’s play, captain Joe Root returned unbeaten on 48 and Jonny Bairstow on 6 runs. Root has hit 6 fours in his 75-ball innings.

England lost the wickets of Rory Burns (49), Dominic Sibley (11), and Haseeb Hameed (0). Sible fell victim to Mohammad Siraj on a total of 23. Siraj also walks Haseeb off the very next ball. Siraj was on a hat-trick but Root didn’t let him get the good fortune.

Burns was dismissed by Mohammed Shami for a total of 108. Burns faced 136 balls and stitched a half-century partnership with the captain to rescue the team from double blows. England batted 45 overs.

Earlier, India started the innings at 276 for three this morning with Rahul 127 and Ajinkya Rahane leading the innings by one run. However, Rahul could not last long and was dismissed for the highest score of 129 runs in 250 balls with the help of 12 fours and a six.

After this Rahane also lost his wicket recently. He scored one run in 23 balls. However, Rishabh Pant and Jadeja then took over the Indian innings and the two batsmen shared a 49-run stand for the sixth wicket. But Pant became a victim of Wood and was dismissed for 37 runs in 58 balls with the help of five fours.
