Steyn injured Cumming in 2007

Cumming Hook was trying to hit the shot but Steyn’s short ball hit his face. After the ball was hit, he started bleeding and was taken to the hospital in view of the situation. Six plates were put through surgery

He had surgery to repair Cumming’s injury. At the time of surgery, six plates were applied to keep his cheek and jaw equal. The Kiwi batting had to stay in the hospital for three days.
