The third and deciding match of T20 played between India and Sri Lanka at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo was like a nightmare for the Indian team. The Indian team led by Shikhar Dhawan had come into this match with the intention of winning the series but after that the condition of the Sri Lankan bowlers was shocking. In the match, Team India decided to bat first after winning the toss but after some time this decision looked wrong in every sense. Sri Lanka allowed the Indian team to score only 81 runs in 20 overs and dropped 8 wickets during this period.
When Team India came out to bat in the match, young batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad was on the pitch along with captain Shikhar Dhawan. De Silva dismissed captain Shikhar Dhawan on the fourth ball of the first over, he could not even open the account. After this, this trend continued for a while and the Indian team could score only 81 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. It was just lucky that Team India was not all out.
