New Delhi: At the 44th Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries, Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced JioPhone-Next, a new smartphone in partnership with Reliance Jio and Google. The new smartphone will be equipped with features and apps of Jio and Google. The operating system of this Android-based smartphone has been developed jointly by Jio and Google. Mukesh Ambani announced that the new smartphone has been made for the common man’s pocket. It will be very economical and will be available in the market from 10th September i.e. Ganesh Chaturthi.

Users can also download apps from Google Play on the JioPhone-Next smartphone specially designed for the Indian market. The smartphone will also get the best camera and Android updates. This fully featured smartphone was described by Mukesh Ambani as the cheapest smartphone not only in India but in the world.
