Mumbai: The shooting of the much awaited second season of Pavitra Rishta has finally started and the popular show has gone on floors, along with some pictures have also been released to increase the excitement of the audience, which will hit the web as soon as it arrives. Went viral. The photos were shared by the show’s producer AltBalaji on his official social media handle. Also introduced the cast of the show. TV actress Ankita Lokhande will once again be seen as Archana and Shaheer Sheikh will be seen in the role of Manav which was once played by late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Sharing the photos, the producer banner captioned, ‘Sometimes in the most ordinary life, we find the most extraordinary love stories! Witness the extraordinary love story of Manav and Archana. #PavitraRishta filming (shooting) is starting, will be streaming soon.’

The first picture shows Shaheer Sheikh and Ankita as the new Manav and Archana, the main characters of the show. Apart from this, the second picture also features Usha Nadkarni who was also a part of the first season and will play the same role of Savita Deshmukh.

Apart from these three, Randeep Rai, Asima Vardhan will be seen in pivotal roles in this digital reboot of Pavitra Rishta. A glimpse of the two actors can be seen in the third picture.

The second season of Pavitra Rishta will stream online. The release date of the show has not been disclosed yet. In the first season, the serial garnered massive fan following and especially the chemistry of Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande was loved from house to house.

In the first season, the show Pavitra Rishta ran for more than 1,424 episodes and the first episode aired on 1 June 2009. It was conceptualized as a Hindi adaptation of Sun TV’s Tamil serial Thirumathi Selvam.
